Great Rose Hotel Quiz Night

On Friday the 7th of September there will be a Great Rose Hotel Quiz fundraiser for ‘Lift the Lid on Mental Health” and South Bunbury Rotary Projects. In the spirit of lifting the lid on mental health please wear a quirky hat. The cost is $120 per table and with 8 people per table, that is $15 per person. Some of you may be wondering why you must wear a quirky hat? The answer is simple: Lift the Lid on mental illness is Australian Rotary Health’s National annual fundraiser for mental health research. Fundraisers are normally held on the 10th of October-World Mental Health Day, and Hat Day.
The campaign, founded by ARH Vice Chairman Greg Ross, started in 2016 in partnership with Rotary Clubs of Victoria. The event was such a success that it has now been extended to all Rotary Clubs across Australia.
Each year approximately 1-in-5 Australians will experience a mental illness and in order to help future generations of young Australians, we need to look ahead through research and find out how we can prevent this type of illness occurring.
