The Christmas in July Lunch was a huge success. We raised $2,000 towards eradicating Polio and Tony raised $781 by asking for donations from people and gave this money to Robyn Yates. This means that $2,781 was raised on the day, but the Gates Foundation will add $2 for every $1 raised making it $8,343.
We had 80 people attend the event including the amazing Jim Harte who sang on the day. Guest enjoyed the food, drinks, entertainment, fellowship, bon bons, and individual chocolate boxes. They fully participated in the raffle, wine pull raffle and silent auction. Tyler realised that next year she needs to buy more raffle books and have more wine bottles available in the wine pull raffle.
