Our weekly meeting on 25th October was to celebrate and raise extra funds for the EndPolio campaign. To do this we had a ‘worst shirt’ dress code. Pictured below is a sample of the Three Amigos, David, Peter and Terry.
Members also donated a variety of goods to be auctioned by our very own Jim. Being auctioned was Sandro’s original and unique retro wine rack, which members readily filled with 12 bottles of red wine. Other donations included a workperson’s pack , consisting of a large drink esky, water bottle and 6 pairs of thick socks, and a chocolate pack with a basket of various chocolates and wafers. Finally, we auctioned the leftover bottles of wine that could not fit into the wine rack. Blaine won the jackpot raffle and donated his winnings of $24. Well done everyone- we raised a total of $511.40!
